To join SGC 100 Club, please complete Steps 1 and 2 and you will then be allocated your own unique 100 Club Number(s).
Step 1:
Set up your own ongoing Standing Order via online banking (Set as “Make a regular payment until cancelled”) with your bank to pay Stromness Golf Club Ltd – 100 Club, £5.00 on the 1st of each month.
Please use your first name and surname as a reference on the standing order set up, that way it will be clear for accountancy.

Alternatively, if you are unable set a standing order via online banking, please complete the standing order form & send/take to your own bank for processing.
Please note if you want more than 1 number (for example if you have more than 1 family member joining) simply increase your standing order amount to suit.
Step 2:
Simply let us know that you have arranged payment by bank transfer (standing order) by e-mailing sgc100@stromnessgc.co.uk along with the following details of each 100 Club member:
• Full name.
• Contact Tel No.
• Email address
You will then be allocated your unique number that will stay with you for the duration of the 100 Club (unless you choose to leave or fail to maintain payments). We will email you with your number for your information & keep you up to date with results of draws.
Stromness Golf Club really appreciate your support in fundraising, all funds raised will go to help maintain and improve your club.
RULES
• The object of the 100 Club is to raise funds for Stromness Golf Club (SGC)
• The 100 Club will be run under the supervision of The Directors of SGC.
• Promoter: Stromness Golf Club Ltd, c/o Andrew Groundwater, 38 Hillside Rd, Stromness, KW16 3HR
• SGC 100 Club is a Small Society Lottery and is open to SGC Members, their families and the public. Anyone age 16 and over can join
• SGC 100 Club will convert into a ‘200 Club’ if there is a demand
• For the cost of £5 per calendar month (i.e. per monthly draw) you will be allocated one number between 1 and 100 which will be entered into each draw
• The draw will take place during the first week of each calendar month for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. The draw will be made in the presence of an independent witness
• The total money issued in prizes in any year less minimal admin costs. (e.g. printing etc) will be as near as possible to 50% of the total of 100 Club subscriptions taken in the same year.
• With 100 members the income in any one month would be £500. £250 (50%) of the £500 would be allocated for prizes. The prize fund will be split 1st prize 50% of the fund, 2nd prize 30% of the fund and 3rd prize 20% of the fund
• To illustrate the above, assuming that there were no costs and the 100 Club was full through a complete year the monthly monetary prizes would be 1st Prize £125; 2nd Prize £75; 3rd Prize £50
• Payment’s must be made by Standing Order on 1st day of each month
• Prizes will be paid by BACS transfer within 1 week of the draw date
• Data (spreadsheet) will be kept recording name, email address and phone number of each member, the number(s) allocated to them and the subscriptions received from them. By applying you give consent for SGC to hold this data purely for the purposes of administrating the 100 Club.
• The names of the winners will be published on SGC Face book page. Winners will also be notified by email
• One month’s notice of cancellation is required
• Members numbers will only be entered into the monthly draw if their subscription is up to date
• Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 100 Club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of a month
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 6 months, the winnings will be assumed to be a donation and placed into SGC 100 Club funds SGC would really appreciate your support.
