Stromness Golf Club is delighted to invite overseas golfers to apply for membership of the Club.

We’re keen to share our wonderful course, and make connections, with golfers from around the world, and we’re sure that anyone who plays here will recognise what a special place it is.  You can read the latest Newsletter to get a flavour of what's going on:

Overseas membership is an ideal way to maintain a connection with the Orkney golfing community, and to keep in touch with what’s going on at the Club, wherever you are in the world. When you come over for a visit, we’ll do our very best to make your visit an enjoyable and memorable one.

Benefits on offer to Overseas members:

· Unlimited free golf when you’re in Stromness

· Free club hire and use of practice facilities – avoid having to bring clubs on the plane

· Sign in your playing partners at the Member’s Guest rate (currently £x per round)

· Join in Club competitions, using your worldwide handicap index

· Receive a Stromness souvenir bag tag

· Overseas Life members will have their names proudly displayed in the Clubhouse

· Receive a Club newsletter with information about what’s going on, plus a bit of history of the Club and the surrounding area

· Let us know when you’re visiting, and we’ll do our best to meet up with you, make you welcome, and even find you a playing partner if we can (if you want one, of course!)
